Relaxing Weekend

Craig Garrard1st August 2023

Quince Cottage was a very enjoyable experience. A pleasant outlook onto paddocks on the fringe of Daylesford-a real country feel!

Weekend stay

Matt Osborne21st November 2022

Recently stayed at Quince Cottage with my wife. When we booked I noted I was in a wheelchair and asked if it was suitable. We didn't hear back but the photos looked OK. Definitely don't stay if in a wheelchair. Can't shower, space is tight and unstable ground. Unless you have some even minor mobility its not suitable. Suitable only for able bodied people. Nice fireplace, comfy bed and lovely hosts but you can hear everything next door because the hosts live just behind a locked door.

Perfect weekend in Quince cottage. So cosy and clean. Loved the fireplace and all the kangaroos in the field nearby. Would highly recommend.

It was a joy to stay at Quince Cottage, the owners have obviously spent a great deal of money and time making sure their guests have the best time. The place was immaculate and very functional. The rooms were spacious and very well laid out. The Kitchen was clean and functional. The main room was warm and cosy and very relaxing. The property is situated in the countryside but not too far from the Daylesford ammenities. Overall I would rate this a five star across the board. BRILLIANT!

Comfortable and Cosy

We enjoyed a couple of nights at the accommodation, Clean, comfortable, with all that you would need for a weekend away. The hosts were kind and checked in to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed the well maintained garden and peaceful surrounds, the welcome gift of homemade jam was a welcomed bonus! The hosts live in the adjacent house attached, general noise can be heard through the wall. Not discourteous in any way, just not as private as I’d liked. A great stay!

Cute and cosy and chintzy in the best country way. If you want modern chic, this isn't the place for you, but if you want a lovely little hideaway that is totally walkable into town, I cannot fault Quince Cottage (those evening views across the paddock and the curious Kangas at dusk - divine). Perfect for a couple - no more. Not somewhere you want to use to cook and entertain, but fabulous if you want a serene little spot from which to start and end your day's adventures.

Extremely comfortable residence

Amenities and grounds are excellent. Close enough to everything you need but far enough away to remind you that you are in the country. Extremely comfortable residence. I highly recommend staying here. This is a great place for couples to stay any time of the year. read more

It has everything you need and more. Inside was warm, cosy and homely with space to relax. Outside It has a lovely garden with many fruit trees and spaces to sit and enjoy.
