In 2018 we made a decision to place one of our properties with Daylesford Country Retreats after managing it ourselves for several years. We were immediately impressed with Troy and Brendan’s friendly manner and attention to detail. Income from our property has tripled, guests continue to be delighted and as owners, we are supremely confident that they look after our property as if it were their own. Early in 2019, based on this demonstrated track record, we decided to transfer our second property to Dayburn. Again, Troy and Brendan went above and beyond, and this made the transition from the other agency seamless and pain free for us. 

We continue to appreciate the proactive marketing, the high standards they insist on from caretaker staff, the continual bookings, the outstanding guest feedback and the transparent and timely communication we receive. When we were considering listing our property on the holiday rental market, we checked out several rental agents and felt rather disheartened until the day we met Brendan and Troy. Their hands-on, thoroughly professional yet easy-going approach instantly made us feel our property was going to be managed very well. And, nearly a year down the track, this has absolutely been the case. Their pro-active approach towards both maintaining our property as well as generating rentals while just being downright nice Gents to deal with means I would thoroughly recommend Daylesford Country Retreats to anyone seeking a property manager in the area. 

Daylesford Country Retreats took over the management of my house in Daylesford at the start of 2018.

Since that time the property has been remarketed, new fantastic photos taken and with a 2018 approach to advertising my house is now taking bookings that I never had before. This includes longer night stays and for the first time in ten years, during the week bookings. This has allowed me to employ a cleaner.

I think the versatile approach that Troy and Brendan have and their ‘easy to deal with nature’ makes all this possible. I particularly like that they both are “attune“ to the ever changing requirements of advertising in such a saturated market and have a flair for what works. This has really put my house on the map and as a result much better bookings have been achieved
